Bees Wax Lip Balm Recipes
Almond Oil & Honey Lip Balm
8 oz. sweet almond oil
1.5-2.5 oz. bees wax
1 t. honey
Melt almond oil and beeswax together in a Pyrex measuring container.
Whisk in honey and pour into containers.
Cocoa Butter Lip Balm
2.5 oz. cocoa butter
2.6 oz. bees wax
1.4 oz. sweet almond oil
Melt all together and then pour into containers.
Flavored Lip Balm
2 tsp. bees wax
7-8 tsp. light oil (sweet almond oil, castor, jojoba oil)
1 tsp. honey
5 drops flavoring
Melt oil and beeswax until wax is melted. Remove from heat and add
honey. Blend thoroughly, stirring constantly. Add flavorings and put into
containers.
Sweet Honey Lip Balm
5-6 T. sweet almond or jojoba, or vegetable oil
1-2 T. bees wax
2 tsp honey 2 drops essential oil (tea tree, peppermint, etc.)
Melt together the oil and beeswax in a small saucepan over low heat or
in a double boiler until melted. Remove from heat and add honey and blend
mixture with a small whisk. Stir until cooled, and then add the essential oil.
The essential oil helps preserve it; also, jojoba oil will help it stay good,
since it does not turn rancid. You can mix different oils to suit your own
preferences. Package your Bees Wax & Honey Balms in *Tupperware Smidgets ( and
/ or ) wrap for an inexpensive hand crafted gift that everyone would

Cucumber-Honey Toner
1 medium cucumber, peeled and cut into pieces
2 teaspoons honey
Directions
Puree cucumber in a blender. Line a sieve with cheesecloth and set the sieve over a glass bowl or measuring cup. Pour the cucumber puree through the sieve and let it stand for 15 minutes for the juices to drip into the bowl. Pour the clear juice into a clean bottle and add honey.
To use, shake the bottle and saturate a cotton pad with the lotion. Sweep over face, neck and chest morning and night, and let it air dry a(about 3 to 4 minutes). Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Makes about 1/2 cup.
